For the past two years our club has filled shoe boxes for the Samaritan's Purse project. These shoe boxes are sent around the world to boys and girls ranging in ages from infants to age 14. Folks fill the boxes with all kinds of items they think children would like.
Our Club and the K Kids from T.C. Martin, and the Key Club of LaPlata High School have worked together on this project.

Our favorite fundraiser has to be BUNCO!
We invite everyone to join us for a fun evening! There is absolutely no skill involved in playing this game, and as you can see from the pictures below, we have a great time! There are plenty of door prizes and everyone goes home a winner.
The money we've raised in the past has helped support our annual scholarship to a deserving local high school senior; the Honor Flight Program; The Kiwanis International's Eliminate Project, which is eradicating Neo Natal Tetanus from around the world, one country at a time; and several other community events that our Kiwanis Club of LaPlata is involved with.
Please contact us if you're interested in our next Bunco fundraiser! firstname.lastname@example.org
